strung across our laundrey door window
and wrapped amidst
our Christmas wreath
with embossed porcelein birds
are these little heart wreaths
simplicity in their colour
they are made from a bamboo and cotton blend yarn
in misty grey and warm cream
with ten hearts to the garland
they measure about two meters in length
they can be hand washed each year
and tucked back in the Christmas decoration box
with a sprig of lavender all ready for next year
at our little yarn store the garlands are
packaged on a recycled paper kraft card
with delicate scroll stamp work
and tucked into a biodegradable cellophane pack
they are ready to post !
