the chooks have decided to be flighted birds !
They've started a campaign much like that of Luftwaffe Stalag 13
Jumping the fence, finding ways under the fence (aided by the dog)
and taking a full frontal offensive on my Winter vegies ?
Its not like they couldn't have anywhere else on the farm
but they choose that little patch to demolish
a wing clipped means nothing (just a lack of gracefulness)
full free-range - are you mad !
i'm certain those garden magazines which prose
the delights of having hens in your garden
should be stitched up for false representation
not at my place
its garden or hens
and I know which side of the fence they should be on
