keeping track

with so many plants and cultivars

now on our growing list at the nursery

its started to be pretty important to

keep track of all the plants

on quieter days

when I have little hands helping,

labels are being written

in the sunshine in the garden

permanent ones to stay at the farm

and wooden biodegradable ones 

that leave with the plants

those little hands sometimes

also move the labels

a small price to pay when

you have the luxury of being able to work from home

so we have a special section in the nursery

called "scroggin"

a place with plants with mixed up labels

go to wait until they flower

and a label can be put back correctly
