nurtured by nature

its pretty normal at the christmas tree farm
for mother nature to give us a bit of a flogging
drought
flood
wind
plagues of rabbits

but I'm not quite sure what to catergorise
a herd of wombats
hen house excavations
they have of course the destructive capacity
of a sherman tank
digging craters
also know as burrows beneath
the trees
the chookshed
and the polytunnel
bee-line for the piolytunnel
 but their leavings
(ahem - scats - poo)
is so vast I'm starting to think
I won't need to fertilize the trees this
Spring !

fertilizer ?

  1. Hey Lee, if we look hard enough there's always an upside .........

No more manure expeditions out into the paddock, perhaps.

Never had Wombats around here, good luck with that one.
